Beginning Of The Revolutionary Wars - April 20, 1792
This is where the National Convention and the radicals decided that every other nation is against them (which is true) and they decided to go to war with them.
Calling Of The Estates General - May 5, 1789
This shows that the king was inexperienced at leading a nation and had to rely on other people to make decisions for him.
Napoleon's Coup D'état - November 9, 1799
Napoleon took charge and walked back into Paris from the wars and was a hero. The people and soldiers liked him so much that he just walked into the Directory and took it over becoming the dictator of France.
The Great Fear - July 20, 1789
This was a time that everyone thought that you could be against the revolution. If you were suspected you would be thrown in jail if you were lucky.
Reign Of Terror - September 5, 1793 To July 28, 1794
Back to the Great Fear. This was an extreme version of that. Instead of the mob killing or throwing you in jail. The government decided to kill you. Anybody who thought or acted differently got killed.
Storming Of The Bastille - July 14, 1789
This marked the start of the revolution "officially." The revolutionaries got armed and got angry.
Establishment Of The Directory - November 1795
The Directory was the radicals new government. Which tried to make reforms and better the country but never achieved that.
Declaration Of The Rights Of Man - August 26, 1789
A attempt of the National Convention to enact equality and new rules for the citizens.
Execution Of Louis XVI - January 21, 1793
Kings of other nations wanted the king free and back to leading the country. This made the populist very mad, but it was the radicals who finally ended the kings life.
Establishment Of The National Convention - June 13, 1789
This was the name they gave the new government. It established itself as the head of the country.
