IDENTITY
-
Identity is the qualities, beliefs, personality, looks and/or expressions that make a person or group.
CULTURE
How do cultural expressions (photos, poetry, traditions and games) give any citizen their identity?
How can I use critical thinking skills in order to read different sources from my and other’s cultures, integrate the information, and apply it to reach a multiculturally appropriate response?
When you are able to make a judgment that respects your culture and others, you can analyze how they work, the differences, etc, you learn so much and this makes you more open to all the different cultures there are.
I really like how we were able to research about different cultures and how are they formed, what they believe in, etc. It really helps you have more knowledge.
They give a citizen an identity because they grow up with cultural background that helps construct who they are going to be, what they like, etc.
Culture is the characteristics and knowledge of a particular group of people, encompassing language, religion, cuisine, social habits, music and arts.
GLOBAL ISSUES
The project we did really helped expand our knowledge with global issues, we all treated different ones and the information provided by all of us was really good. We did our best with the researches and trying to get to more people. We put in practice many skills and talking to foreigners really helped expand our resources more.
A global issue is any issue (problem, risk) that adversely affects the global community and environment, possibly in a catastrophic way.
SOLUTIONS
All the researches done this semester helped us built a new way of seeing things, it expanded our way of thinking in every aspect. I liked how everything was related. We thought about solutions, we analyzed the impact they would have and got into action
