    - - When I am giving a new theme with the same structure from Unit 1, I constantly hear "Teacher, we already saw that grammar point" But, when it is applied to a different context, their brains can have a past experience on the topic and assimilate the new information.
        For example: Present Perfect to talk about movies, and Present Perfect with Past Simple to talk about the life of a famous person.
- - - - If a student in a foreign language does not have the language skills yet there will be a huge DIFFICULTY in organizing the stream of sounds into meaningful units.
        
        This is why, we must be very careful and patient with our students. We must start from the smallest part (phonemes) in order to facilitate their listening comprehension. Activating their previous knowledge with words in the same semantic field, will help them with a better understanding of the activities we are going to work on.
