Stevens lives in Coach and Horses and then second day goes to a city and enjoyed Tea. Meanwhile, he thinks about silver.

Giffen's appeared at the beginning of the twenties, then declined because of a substitute.
Day Three- Evening
Plot
Reality
Stevens' car lacks foil, so he goes to a nearby town. The Taylor family is willing to help this gentelman. In the evening, many other people in the town come to see Stevens and talk about dignity and the social conditions. This makes Stevens feel bad and exhausted, so he finds a reason to live.

Lisa. Miss Kenton trained her and she becomes a great servant. However, she left with a butler due to love. And this makes Miss Kenton feel regret.

In a short period of time, Miss Kenton often asks to leave. Stevens guesses this due to a man. Then, he comes to talk with Miss Kenton but the conversation finally makes Miss Kenton angry.
