Research and document different presentation methods for portfolio design — document a minimum of 5 examples

Document the considerations and potential issues for production of the portfolio based on different formats and binding options
Planning
Create a timeline identifying the key dates of the different stages of the folio design and production
Produce a production budget for the project — obtain quotes for printing, stock selection and binding
Produce hand drawn layout concepts for your portfolio, annotate how you intend to present your style and personality
Create a draft InDesign document of a spread for your portfolio, showing the intended grid system, layout, type selection and format for project descriptions
Production
Create your final InDesign document to the proposed specifications, setting up the grid system on the master page and creating paragraph styles
Select appropriate projects / work to include in the portfolio that showcases you as a designer — ensuring work has been refined to be included in the portfolio
In the EVD, document the copyright information for all stock images and mockup templates used
Produce a test print for review — make refinements and changes to layout & typesetting and address production issues

In your EVD, note the final cost of the project, was it different to the original quote — if so, what factors caused the difference
Presentation
Print and submit the final portfolio that showcases your design work that meets your original objectives
Document in the EVD the feedback you received throughout the design process and also the printing and production process
Identify how do you plan to update and refine your portfolio as your skills develop and you produce new work
