THE BIRTH OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
North America was always inhabited by natives (American Indians) but then the first European colonizers, the British, appeared on the Atlantic coast and founded 13 important colonies here.
The 13 English colonies were formed over time for various reasons:
Virginia (commercial purposes)
Massachusetts rhode island connecticut and new hampshire were founded by groups of english puritans persecuted at home because of their faith among them were the so-called pilgrim fathers who wanted to create a new christian society and a new church based on principles in america.
The 13 colonies were very different from the economic and social point of view in the south the wealth was in the hands of a few large landowners who had their plantations of tobacco, cotton, sugarcane cultivated by their slaves and in the north there is they were small owners, craftsmen, factories and small factories.
But after the Seven Years' War, the economically weakened England was no longer able to protect a vast colonial empire. American settlers were forbidden to go beyond the Appalachian Mountains to avoid provoking the Indians. After the declaration of Independence England reacted harshly and a real war broke out between the English. They had a powerful and well-organized army, while the settlers were untrained volunteers, but General George Washington knew how to build a real army.
In a first period the 13 colonies had a good relationship with the homeland, the American territories enjoyed wide autonomy and the British government guaranteed them protection both against the Indians and against France and Spain
Meanwhile, France, Spain and later Holland declared war on England. Their intervention was important for the fate of the conflict.
On June 14, 1777, the flag of the USA was born. The flag has 13 horizontal stripes and represent the 13 colonies that joined in a federation with only one president and one constitution and the stars are 50 and there is one for each state that entered the Union this because the colonists no longer had the ban on expanding to the west and then began a great movement of conquest called the conquest of the WEST and in a few decades they managed to conquer the whole continete reaching the whole continete reaching the Pacific coast.
The current president of the united states is Trum until January thereafter will be Biden
the president who has remained in history is ABRAHAM LINCOLN. Murdered died in April 1865.
