What is passé composé? Passé composé is an action that happened in the past. It uses either avoir or être in present tense. When you use passe composé you have to follow this order: avoir or être in the present tense + past particle of the main verb. The difference between passé composé and imparfait is that imparfait is what is happening and passé composé is what happened.
The past participle changes the ending of ER verbs to è, RE verbs to u, and IR verbs to i. When it is masculine plural you add s and when it is feminine plural you add es.
