2)Place a petri dish with two holes over the top, and insert the electrodes into the beaker.

5)Because copper is less reactive than hydrogen, it is discharged at the cathode. And chlorine will form at the anode.
Neutralisation/Titration

3)Add a few drops of an indicator, e.g. methyl orange, to the solution (which goes from yellow to red)
4) Add sulphuric acid until the indicator changes colour suddenly and the solution becomes neutral, and record the volume.
