2.Drag and Drop(5 minutes)
According to the content of the course, the teacher designed this game of match up. The exercise contains sentences in Chinese only. Students need to read the text to drag and drop each keyword next to its definition. In a normal classroom, students hold up the word color signs(3 colors). In the online class, students directly choose answers by presee the choosing button.

Match up and speak your opinion(4 minutes)
The teacher released three well-known Chinese Americans by providing their pictures, names and industries, and asking students to match up. At the same time, in this part, students are encouraged to say what they know about the people and give some opinions. They are encouraged to talk about more Chinese Americans they know and make some comparisons and evaluations. This method is conducive to cultivating students' oral expression and critical thinking.

1.Word Wheel(3 minutes)
Through the game of the word wheel, the teacher typed new words on the network platform, used the software to randomly read the new words, and asked the students what the word meant. After each word is asked, the teacher will repeat and read it once to help students deepen their impression of the new words.

High achievers group
Task:
Students will be asked to make a more detail introduction about I.M.Pei and compare with a contemporary famous Chinese designer.They will make a detailed report blog and publish it on the learning platform of the class.They will also give a presentation about their report in class.
Tracking and Monitoring
1.The teacher will explain and guide students before the start of the activity to ensure that students understand the requirements of the activity.
2.The teacher checks the group board of the students,help students deal with uncertain problems in time.
3.The teacher organizes students for in-depth discussions and reflections, and checks their results.
4.The teacher checks the student’s report and assists in revising it, helping the student to rehearse the presentation in advance.
Assessment
Summative assessment on the final project the students create and their mastery of materials, speech expression and language skill.
Average group
Task
:Students will be asked to complete Inside/Outside Circles activity to ask and answer questions or discuss topics related to the lesson.At the same time, they will be required to complete a form of relevant vocabulary and grammar exercises. As homework, the group of students will imitate the text and write a paragraph in Chinese on the Padlet to introduce the famous person they know. (The person can be anyone from diversity countries or ethnicities)
Tracking and Monitoring
1.The teacher patrols back and forth to listen to the students’ conversations and check the students’ exercises.
2.The teacher controls the time and speed of each round of conversion.
Assessment
Summative assessment on the communication situation, final exercise form and Padlet writing.
3.When all exercises are completed, the teacher will comment once to help students correct mistakes. The revised form will be collected by the teacher.
Foundational group
Task
: Students will be asked to do a picture sequencing activity. This activity requires that each individual student demonstrates understanding while interpreting words or sentences presented as they hear and/or read the information.After that, students will make some Chinese sticky notes about grammar sentence patterns, text knowledge points summary and enlightening questions, and posted this notes around the four corners of the classroom, the whole class students will review them together.
Tracking and Monitoring
1.The teacher will teach students to learn the lesson step by step.
The teacher will lead students through a practice round with a few images to make sure that the students understand the process.
3.The teacher will lead the group through a few rounds of the activity. After each round, the teacher will pause to review the correct sequence. During the activity, the teacher will circulate around the classroom as they say each sentence, providing non-verbal feedback to students who need extra support during the activity.

Summative assessment on the learning process and final stickers.
