Mindsets
Growth Mindset: believe that intelligence is like a muscle- it gets stronger the more its used.
Fixed Mindsets: believe people are born with a fixed amount of ability and talent
How to develop a growth mindset
think of your brain as a muscle: the more you use your brain the smarter and more capable it becomes.
set learning goals and well as performance goals: Performance goals are what you want to see chance. Learning goals are what you are going to do in order to reach your performance goals.
seek feedback: feedback is given to us everyday, you just have to act on it and not ignore it like most people do.
change course when needed: admit to yourself that what you are doing isnt working. it takes courage but it has to be done in order to succeed.
Keep Comments
make your agreements consciously: understand exactly what you are committing too.
use creator language: say you WILL do it.
Make your agreements important: write them down, tell others about them.
create a plan then do everything to stick to t: track your promises to yourself and to others.
if a problem occurs, renegotiate dont abandon your promise.
