Global self-evaluation that blends many specific evaluation about one's adequacy as:
Whatever is personally relevant.
e.g: a students, a athlete, a worker, a spouse, or a parent
The fail and success will leads to your self-esteem level
But in our reality
Fail and success is something normal. It's can be changeable
People with high self-esteem are confident, taking credit for their successes in various ways
(Blaine & Crocker 1993)
while seeking venues for demonstrating their skills
(Baumeister, 1998)
High-self-esteem folks are not unduly discouraged by failure, because they usually create personal strategies for downplaying or ignoring negative criticism
(Heimpel et al., 2002)
Compared to individuals with low self-esteem, they are also relatively sure of who they are
(Campbell, 1990)
In reality, the self-views of people with low self-esteem are not more negative; rather, they are more confused and tentative
