Assessment for injuries sustained
Management suspected epilepsy
Refer
Inform patient and family of suspicions
Stop driving advice
Avoid swimming
Provide Written advice
Managing seizure
Monitor duration
Remove harmful objects from around (including glasses)
Do not restrict movement
Put into recovery position when seizure stops
Examine for/manage injuries
Assess for tonic-clonic > 5 mins/>3 in 1 hour
Administer buccal Midazolam in community setting
999 ambulance if seizure does not respond to treatment/recurrent/prolonged/first seizure

Bloods: FBC, U&E, LFT, TFT, Calcium, Glucose
ECG
