Climate Change is a long, on going change to the global climate that lasts for three decades or more. It includes shifts in the wind, precipitation patterns, and increases in extreme weather events. The consequence of this change includes melting of polar ice caps, rising sea levels, droughts, food and water shortage, and spread of tropical disease.
The greenhouse effect is when solar radiation passes through the atmosphere and warms earths surface. Heat radiating from the warmed planet is absorbed by greenhouse gases which then reflect heat back into the earth.
