Elements
There are eight different groups which they are split into.
They are split into metals and non-metals
The elements in group 1,2 and the whole middle section and the elements AL,Ge,Sb, Bi are all metals and the rest are non-metals.
An element is made up of one type of atom
They are found on the periodic table.
Relative atomic mass
They way you find atomic mass is that it is the biggest number at the top of the element.
The atomic mass is also the electrons and protons.
It is the average mass of the atom.
You have to add up the protons and neutrons to find it.
Alkali Metals
They are all the elments in group one
They are in group one because they have one electron on the out shell
They are silver and react with water.
They can be cut with a knife.
Halogens
Halogens can be found in group 7.
They are very reactive.
They are dangerous and can burn you.
They turn into Gases then liquids then solids.
