- - - - invisible unemployment - the nazis ignored some people who didnt have jobs such as the jews and the women men in the RAD also were not counted, in april 1933 laws passed that allowed jews to be dismissed from civil service
      - army expansion - size of the german army was increased under the nazis 100,000 to 1.4 million , rearmnament gave people jobs
      - nazis invested alot of money in public work job creation schemes, these created alot of new jobs for german workers , construction of buildings autobahns . 3.7 billion marks spent on these schemes

        in 1937, nazis had to change up the marriage loans scheme to allow women to take up employment which was embarassing

        policy 1 - women deliberately given a worse education, number of uni places offered to women was reduced so only 10% of uni places could be offered to women

        many girls enjoyed hitler youth as it allowed them to take part in activities that before were only for teen boys
