The salaries received by mansabdars were called Jagirs. These were similar to iqtas.
But the mansabdars did not reside in or administer their Jagirs, like muqtis.
They only had rights to the revenue of their assignments which was collected by them by their servants
The mansabdars themselves served in some other part of the country
