Prevailing Wind = The most common wind blowing over a region. Prevailing wind is a large mass of moving air.
Aspect = The direction in which a slope is facing. South facing slope gets most heat. North facing sun gets less heat. The sun rises in the east.

Distance from Seas and Oceans = The land heats up quickly in the summer but cools down quickly in winter. The sea heats up slowly in the summer but cools slowly in winter.
