American Banking System
Created by Henry Clay under protection tariff of 1816 to protect manufacturing industries in the east. This helped provide canals and railroads in the Ohio Valley, thus transporting manufactured goods better.

The Cotton gin and the spinning thread helped increase production of textiles and cotton during the Industrial Revolution.
