- Never disturb the crime sscene, no eating,no drinking, no smoking, or shutting of windows .
- Do not attempt to remove trace evidence
E.g : Hairs, fibers from an object
- Prevent changing the evidence in a way.

- Example like Police, Fire or EMC.

- Establish a perimeter like ropes, crime scene tapes and etc
- Prevent people from leaving the crime scene
:warning: Recording the crime scene
- Before searching for and collecting evidence the crime scene must be recorded.
- Detailed notes must be written or recorded.

- Video
- Photography
:warning: Search Patterns and General Principles
- Find all relevant physical evidence
- Evidence found during a search should be marked and photographed before collection.
- Possible evidence and possible carriers of evidence are collected.
- Lower contamination risk by wearing covers, face mask, gloves, eye protection.
:warning:PACKAGING EVIDENCE
- For all evidence must be package each item separately
- Label clearly
- Seal package with tamper-evidence closure.
- Biological evidence for bloody garments and fingernails.
- Use only sterile disposable tools.
- Place biohazard stcikers on bag.
- Arson evidence lexample like oilrags, charred debris, and seal in airlights.

HANDLING EVIDENCE
- Prevent evidence changing in a way
- Threats : Contamination, brekage, evaporation, straching or bonding or careless packaging
- Always use latex disposable forceps,to touch the evidence
- Change forceps or gloves or clean if not possible when handling different evidences.
