INTERLEAVING
There are a large number of equations in topics such as P1-Atomic Structure, P2-Electricty, P3-Thermal and P6-Waves, so students are regularly checked for their mathematical ability and how to manipulate formulae, mainly through starter activities, as well as through exam style question practice. The interleaved questions from previous topics, making connections between topics where possible. Revisit these topics and reteach every equation with concrete examples to model for students how to approach calculations, vocabulary list e.g. students are given a concrete example of the definition of frequency, amplitude etc.
