CNS excitement followed be depression
symptoms:
breathing too quickly or too slow
cyanosis
loss of conciousness
possible seizure
treatment for local anesth:
Mild: admin O2 and monitor vitals
severe
place pt one their side
admin diazepam via IV
hypnotic overdose cause:
accidental or misuse of the drug
symptoms
slowed respirations
other symptoms for other drugs
treatment for hypnotic overdose
supine and maintain open airway
prepare for a possible seizure
if trained, admin narcotics - NARCAN
