indices rules
when multiplying them, you add them instead
when dividing them, you subtract them instead
if there is an indice inside the bracket and outside the bracket, then you would put both the indices next to each other e.g ab
anything to the power of 0 is 1
anything to the power of 1 is itself
Negative indices become fractions
fractional indices become roots

x>y x is greater than y
x<y x is less than y
x≥y x is greater than or equal to y
x≤y x is less than or equal to y
x≡y x is equal to y for all values of x and y
x≠y x is not equal to y
if n is an integer
2n is any even value
2n+1 is any odd value
