In order to be the Best Learner possible in the PYP schools, students must understand their basic identity as learners. This is why it is important for each student to know all the attributes to becoming an IB student. After or while a student is understanding their identity they will begin to learn the Inquiry Process.
As the journey begins for the IB Learner they will begin to pave the way of learning through the Inquiry Process. This teaches a student how to approach their topics in a in-depth and fulfilling way to bring a deeper meaning to what they are learning and discovering how to interact with the knowledge and materials they are constructing.
Once we understand our identity as learners and begin to develop as learners who are inquiry-minded, the stage is set to understand how we can use our skills to approach our own learning.
This is my rationale for the three essential elements as students approach their Exhibition Completion for PYP schools. The three on the left are equally important but, I see the ones I chose on the right to be foundational. *Each branch has their own color.
