Protagonists Evidence: "Its been my experience that you can nearly always enjoy things if you make up your mind firmly you will." (Montgomery,5)
Antagonists evidence: Mrs. Marilla is kind of rude and tells anne she talks too much and that she wants her to be quiet."“For pity’s sake hold your tongue,” said Marilla. “You talk entirely too much for a little girl.”
Thereupon Anne held her tongue so obediently and thoroughly that her continued silence made Marilla rather nervous, as if in the presence of something not exactly natural.
Based on your reading and analysis of the novel what connections can you make between the events in the text and other things from your life outside of school?
What have you learned? How has your perspective been shaped by the author? I have learned that not everywhere is meant to be your home. The author shaped my perspective because the message of the story is to be hopeful.
