The Native Americans POV
Life Before
Different NA would have different tribal customs and religious traditions. These tribal customs and religious traditions were passed on generations.
Before the Spanish came the NA would hunt with natural tools for their food. An example would be bones from a buffalo.
The NA tribes would hunt for buffalo because they could use every pice of the buffalo. This would help them with resources. This type of NA was forced into government reservations because there were settler encroaching their land and they didn't know how to make money.

The Mission Life
-
Some of the NA struggled in the missions. There was little freedom and a very structured schedule. For some the Mission wasn't all that bad. It had stable food and water which wasn't as easily accessible to some tribes.
Your experience in the Missions really all depended on what tribe you were from, whether or not you submitted easily and how easily accessible food and water was.
The missions brought many diseases to the Native American culture such as smallpox, measles, flu, and many more. At a mission called Mission Dolores about 80% of the population had died because of Spanish diseases. By 1850 on approx. five Ramaytush families had survived.
Their Interaction
Some tribes first interactions with the Europeans resulted in raids, murder, and kindapping.
