Their attitude towards lessons is not positive and they don’t respond actively, it is difficult to organize the class because learners likes to talk in class and are not engaged in learning process.
Learners are 17 years old
Performance objective :check:
After studying the examples of narrative text provided, students are able understand main idea, structure of text, specific information, detailed information, explicit and implicit information, and inference of narrative text
Students are able to answer choice and essay question related to narrative text
Develop instructional strategies :check:
Instructional activities
The material will be delivered through teacher explanation and example of narrative text
The content will be understood through arrange the text
The teacher will give each student a story that has been separated paragraph by paragraph
Students find an example of narrative text

Have learners think the topic about narrative text
Have learners arrange the text carefully
Teachers learn the material before come into the class, so the explanation will be clear and easily understood
Teachers warm up and motivate the learners by building their self-confidence in learning
Develop and select instructional material :check:
Power point (a power point is provided by a teacher which contains supporting material in the English text book and examples of narrative text)
English text book (the English text book used is the one provided in the school library and is in accordance with the curriculum used. This is so that all students can access the same book)
Design and conduct formative evaluation :check:
Students must determine and write the main idea and character of the text that has been arranged
Teachers give the separated text that must be arranged by students
Revise instruction based from formative evaluation :check:
The teachers will assess how well the students compiled the text
Teacher will check the main idea and characters that written by student in grammar and vocabulary to measure students understanding about the topic
Design and conduct summative evaluation :check:
At the end of the meeting, as the final test. Students are asked to answer 10 choice and 5 essay questions based on the narrative text given
The teacher assesses student grammar use, vocabularies, punctuation, and word choice.

Students are able to understand the meaning of narrative text.
