Ethnically this is marked by the presence of mestizos, indigenous people, Afro-Ecuadorians, and Whites; as well as regions such as the coast, the mountains, the east and the insular region, all of these with very rich specificities. Although there is a cultural heritage common to all Ecuadorians, the marked uniqueness of its regions and provinces has given rise to various cultural manifestations throughout its territory. These manifestations have been reflected in all fields: art, traditions, literature, languages and dialects, music, gastronomy, etc.
