2- Karim starts seeing his mom again, and helps her redecorating the house

4- Karim's costume is a loin cloth and a sort of brownish cream. He feels humiliated, he also has to do an indian accent during the play. So he has an arguement with Shadwell

6- Karim admits that standing apart from other has its benefits, and he takes advantage of that situation by making some requirements
7- Eva is being more pretentious as she starts climbing higher in London. This creates a gap between her and Haroon, who regards everyone equally unlike Eva
8- Charlie is being aggressive. Eva and Karim go to his gig, which turned into a huge riot
9- Karim plays for the first time in front of an audience, everything is going great until lights crashed down on the floor. Everyone went out. the 2 next previews were also cancelled
10- Karim invites Margaret, Ted and Jean to his play, another time Haroon, Eva, Jamila and Changez. They all thought it was amazing except Haroon and Jamila who think this play is full of racist clichés against indians
11- Pyke assists to one of the play, which made everyone so excited. Terry and Karim go to the pub as usual while Terry is trying to impress Pyke
12- Pyke offers Karim a role in his next play. Terry is furious about it. Some other actors are jealous and Jeremy says that Karim is ungrateful and and humiliates him again in front of the audience, telling him he's a prick and a loser

there isn't as much passion between Haroon and Eva anymore, not as much as there used to be

MOST STRIKING SCENES
Charlie and his mother, Eva arguing. Eva asked Charlie to take the swastika off his shirt, Charlie refused and started to insult her. Then he left. Charlie and Eva actually don't have a really good relationship, as we could have thought at the beginning of the book.
