Stopping the Pandemic
Making it less political
Recognizing that part of the problem is the election
With tensions on the rise from the political standpoints, we need to be separating these issues, not combining them
Taking out the whole "masks debate"
Removing a singular leader to make the decisions for everything just when it comes to this pandemic
We have THOUSANDS of health experts that our country could really be making more use of their extensive knowledge in a time like this
Presenting singular laws for the whole of the country rather than singular states or counties
Developing a long term solution
How can we keep this from happing again
In short, we can't....unless we begin to take very possible measure to keep people safe. This includes shutting something down when it gets out of our hands
Providing documented emergency action plans
A lot of the issues that the pandemic has caused have left our government to go, "well, now what?" we need to be putting direction action plans in place as to how we hand our economy, people's heath, low amounts of available beds in ICU, etc.
Reducing the spread by being aware of what goes in and out of our markets
This whole thing supposedly started with a bat....we should be implementing stricter rules as to what goes in and out of our markets world wide
Preventing the spread
REQUIRING simple behaviors such as wearing a mask and social distancing
These behaviors have been loosely encouraged since the start of the virus. We should be making these an actual law
Putting new distancing measures in place
This isn't just a "stand farther if you want" type of problem. Businesses across the board need to be directing better implementation for social distancing
Immediately closing down places that have outbreaks for at least 2-3 weeks
Recognizing the real numbers
There is a lot of the phrase "fake numbers" going around
We have so much testing happening (different locations, different tests), what are citizens supposed to believe?
Getting and maintaining accurate testing
All of our testing has been coming with iffy results. We need to be better controlling who is doing the testing and what the results should be showing
