The present perfect is a verb tense that narrates events that have already occurred at a specific time or in the past but that continue to have relevance in the present.
Interrogative form
To ask about actions that occur in a period of time that has not yet ended, we use the present perfect question. We form it using the auxiliary have (or has for the third person singular) followed by the person and the main verb in the participle.

Negative form
The present perfect in the negative is formed by adding not to have (or to has if it is the third person singular). The vast majority of the time we contract negations when speaking, so it looks like this:

Affirmative form
The present perfect in the affirmative is formed by placing have (or has for the third person singular) in front of the participle of the main verb:
