VISIGOTHS
4th and 5th Century
They entered in Roman Empire at the end of 4thCentury. In exchange for a help brought to the Roman emperor, the Visigoths established the south-east of Gaul.
6th CENTURY
At the beginning of the 6 th Century the Franks expelled the Visigoths and they went to the Iberian
Peninsula, where they founded a kingdom whose capital was Toledo.

The constant battle between kings
and nobility provoked the invasion and disappearance of the kingdom by the Muslims.

needed someone working on his lads, so he lets vassals work there, but they have to give him some of the benefits
Vassals
have a place to work, so they can earn money. They have to give a part to the Lord
Scandinavian Invation
In century IX and X the scandinavian people invate the Roman Empire. The intention was basically destruction.

The lords owned the different estates, and the peasents were the ones working on the lands

After the fall of the Roman Empire, the Frankish Kingdom was established in France.The kigs were weak so they handed the power to Mayors of the Palace

He defeated the Muslims in France at the battle of Tours in 732
Pippin the Short
He was Martel's son, he defeated the last Frankish monarch in 751 and became a King
Charlemagne Was Pippin's son, he wanted to restore the Western Roman Empire. He also conquered Lombard Kingdom in Italy and took the territories on the Iberian Peninsula
