Naval Race
The naval race between Germany and Great Britain between 1906 and 1914 created a lot of conflict between both nations and one of the causes of World War One because of. In 1906, Britain launched the first dreadnought – a ship that meant all others were redundant. Germany built the Weltpolitik
Scheiffen Plan
The Schlieffen Plan was the operational plan for a designated attack on France made in 1905 December where Germany would attack France through Belgium this causing tension for Europe because of Germanies' aggression towards France and their attacks.
Alliance - a union or association formed for mutual benefit, especially between countries or organizations.
Dual Alliance
An alliance created between Austria-Hungary and the German Empire on October 7, 1879, in which both parties agreed to protect and support each other in case of an attack made by Russia.
Blank Cheque
On July 14, 1914, Kaiser Wilhelm II made his country support the Danube monarchy and announced the blank cheque which was essentially a deal that Austria-Hungary and the Germans made and the germans basically saying that they support Austria's decision on declaring war with Serbia.
Imperialsim - Imperialism is the state policy, practice, or advocacy of extending power and dominion, especially by direct territorial acquisition or by gaining political and economic control of other territories and peoples.
Moroccan Crisis
France was trying to take over Morocco as it was an agreement between Britain and France. The kaiser of Germany didn't want Morocco to be part of France so the German Kaiser went to Morocco to promise them their independence. As Britain and France found out they were mad and were going to declare war but it was stopped.

October 6, 1908
When Austria Hungary annex Bosnia and made a deal with Russia for support because both coutnries needed help since russia lost a battle in 1905 against japan.
Nationalism identification with one's own nation and support for its interests, especially to the exclusion or detriment of the interests of other nations.
Black Hand
The Black hand - The black hand was a secret serbian group in the early 20th century and they were planing to assassinate Archduke Franz Ferdinand in Sarajevo in June 1914, an event that led directly to the outbreak of World War I.
Panslavism
The Pan-Slavic movement in Eastern Europe in the early 20th Century created a tension between Austria-Hungary and Serbia that culminated in WWI. This tension was caused by the threat Pan-Slavism posed on Austria-Hungary due to its high Slavic population and its recent annexation of Bosnia Herzegovina.
