Intro:
At the begging women had the vote.
But then they lost the vote.
In 1848 there was the first-ever women's rights convention.
Feeling mad and upset.
In 1890 the National American women association (NAWSA) was created
Paragraph two:
So the women had to take over the men's jobs.
218 women were arrested for picketing outside the white house in 1917.
Large numbers of men were sent to Europe for WW1, in April 6, 1917.
In 1917 the president aranged the 19th amendment to congress.
Paragraph three:
Native American women citizenship bill in 1924.But it still took over forty years for all fifty states to allow Native Americans to vote.
Black women got the vote three years after
Asian Americans go the vote thirty years later in 1943.
But other women from other places didn't get the vote, they had to wait longer.
Conclusion:
Now everyone has the vote but it took a really long time to get it.
It took over 100 years for everyone to get the vote in the U.S.A.
