Zheng He was a naval explorer who increased commerce and interaction between China and various areas in Asia.

Zheng He introduced diverse creatures to China, these included giraffes, which was fallaciously assumed as a Qi Lin during his time.
Zheng He was extolled by the Ming emperor, Zhu Di. Zheng He's originally family name is Ma, subsequent to his explorations, he was granted the surname "Zheng" as a commendment.
Zheng He is a pious Muslim who aspired to make a pilgrimage to Mecca. He held this ambition during his explorations.
Zheng He was attacked by pirates during his journey. With shrewd, intelligence, and prudence, he successfully devastated the pirates.
