America's main goal in the war of 1812 they wanted to attack, invade and take control of Canada which was under the control of British forces. The commander of the American army was William Hull , he wanted to attack in three different places simultaneously, but his first mistake was when he sent a group of stick men with his correspondence when the British captured the ship they knew Hulls plans, he then failed most of his plans of capturing some forts. After multiple battles and sieges, Hull surrendered to the British and the invasion of Canada was a failure.
The Baltimore riots were a serrice of violent encounters that spanned many months in the year 1812, The Baltimore Riots of 1812 were also in protest for federalists that believed in the anti-war stance and they didn't want to go to war with Great Britain. They responded with multiple articles and papers.

After both the Senate and the House of Representatives approved and voted to declare war against Great Britain and on June 18th 1812 James Monroe declared war starting The War of 1812.
This was a battle between the native americans and the americans in Indiana. The Shawnee leader of the warriors was a spiritual man that disagreed with european settlements in the new world. This caused a battle and the US brought 1 thousand men and the Native Americans weren't prepared for the American forces but they put up a good fight for almost two hours but were eventually defeated.

The embargo highlighted American weakness and lack of leverage, significantly damaged the American economy, and increased political tensions. Widespread evasion of the embargo and loopholes in the legislation reduced its impact on its targets. British commercial shipping was successfully altering Napoleon's Continental System by going after new markets. British shippers were well-positioned to grow at American expense when the embargo reduced American trade activity. The embargo provoked protests, mainly in New England commercial centers. The embargo undermined Americans' faith that their government could execute laws fairly and strengthened the European understanding that the republican form of government was unskilled and inefficient.
The US embargo act was passed by the US congress and was then signed off by president Thomas Jefferson. This embargo prohibited any US ships from stopping at any foreign ports to trade. This very much hurt the US economy and the embargo was a huge failure since the French and British just went to different traders and didn't even notice the embargo.

The Chesapeake Incident, also called the Chesapeake Leopard affair was a naval engagement off the coast of Norfolk, Virginia. This engagement was between the British warship HMS Leopard and the American USS Chesapeake. The Americans were caught unprepared and lost the battle after only shooting once.
The Impressment of sailors happened over an extended period of time when Britain's Royal Navy would board American ships and the naval officers would inspect the crew and then search the ships for british deserters. This was heavily caused by the war of 1812.
