New Year's Eve Traditions
On New Year's Eve, Romanians respect a very funny and weird tradition - dancing on the streets while being disguised as a goat. The ''goat'' and his friends walk from house to house, stopping by everyone's doorstep
Wedding rituals
When the wedding day arrives, the best man assists the groom in
preparing for the wedding (ritual of shaving) and the maid of
honour assists the bride, helping her with the veil.Once they are finished, the groom as well as his family and friends will all go together, first of all to the godparents and then to the bride’s house.Once the groom arrives, he has to pay something for her in order to get his bride; the groom is also required to bring a gift which is usually a piece of jewellery that the bride will wear.

Romanian Dances
Over time, different dance styles specific to some areas of the country have developed in Romania. They have their own specificity, each dance having remarkable clothing and steps. I think that our dances are immeasurably special due to their special dynamics. One of these dances is named "hora" which has a special place in the Romanian culture. It's indeed special because of its nature to bring anyone together, forget about our problems, and enjoy the moment by just forming a circle and dancing around it.
