Personal Definition
Maria: Inclusion to me means that everyone feels and is included and there is no discrimination based on their appearance or background. Inclusion means feeling like you're a part of something and not feeling excluded.
Pranaya: According to me, inclusion is when everyone is included in any event or activity regardless of their social or economic background. No one is left out.
Yasmina: My defintion of inclusion is including everyone and not leaving anyone out, as well as coming together as a powerful group with different backgrounds all together.
Noorhan: Inclusion is to include everyone and make sure no one gets left out because of their race or ethnicity.
Importance
Diversity does not exist without inclusion. Inclusion makes people feel a sense of belonging, which is very important.
The children with or without disabilities will get the benefits of friendship skills, peer models, problem solving skills, positive self-image and respect for others as well.
