Preventing Future Challenges as much as possible: Assessment & Screening Process Before Students Enroll In Classes
Have parents contacted the school and set up an appointment for an assessment of their child/children?
Did the student take a tour of the school, participate in an informal conversation and complete a phonics screening?
Did the parents, teachers, operations officers and student(s) agree on the most suitable class and sign a contract for the course?
-
Did the student try one or more classes to see if the class is suitable for their goals and needs? Were any potential learning challenges observed and communicated?
Was there a meeting with a parent, teacher, operations office and the student to discuss the assessment results, perceived strengths and weaknesses the structure of available classes, the expectations of everyone involved in the learning process and potential classes that could be joined?
