Technology is creating a generation of Immoral Self-Indulged individuals…
Technology is creating a generation of Immoral Self-Indulged individuals who don't care about "Real" issues.
Point One:
Opinion: I believe that kids are given the information they need to spread awareness and make a change, however, all we do is put a hashtag on their instagram
-
Point: We use information we are given on the internet to gain followers/ Although we are given information to be able make a difference, we don't
-
Point Two:
Evidence:
We have easy access to things we shouldn’t and will negatively influence our lives, “inspiring” us to follow in the footsteps of “immoral, self-indulged individuals” e.g Logan Paul
-Screen record Instagram feed and see how similar the posts are to each other (I will blur out the faces)
-
-
Personal story: Maybe that I see a lot of people copying popular people's Instagram posts I often find myself only posting the brightest part of my life instead of maybe posting things that aren't so perfect.
Point three:
Point: Technology stops us from engaging with each other and instead, we only care about what is on our screens
Personal story: In the mornings at the lockers, you see majority of our grade sitting on our phones instead of talking to each other
