TREATMENT
topical anti-fungal medication such as griseofulvin, terbinafine and itraconazole, taken by mouth
RISK FACTORS
share clothing ,bedding or towel with someone who has fungal infection
live in warm climate
having contact with an affected person or animal
PREVENTIONS
Topical formulations with antifungal compounds like shampoos may be used
take your pet to see vet if you suspect a ringworm infection
avoid sharing toiletries with someone who is infected
