Emotions in nature conveyed through art
beach/ sunlight- happiness
trees/forest- calm/peace
Fire- determination, power, powerful
rain- sadness
Components- Silhouettes, adding different aspects of nature
Colour scheme- cool colours, plain and consistent, dull and not too attention seeking
Possible artworks- Girl silhouette swinging in dark forest, northern lights with forest silhouette, mountain scenery with forest silhouette, winterland, tree of life
To me trees signify calm and just peace. For me, they are the calmest and least noisy form of nature and hence the tree artwork is in cool colours and there is the component of silhouette
Colour scheme- warm and cool colours, very vibrant and leaning more towards light blues and yellows with pops of colour
Components- Main focal point- waves and sunlight. One added component such as leaves or pineapple or some marine life
Beach memories in general have been very happy and fun for me and that's why beaches and sunlight signify happiness for me. Yellow is considered a very happy colour and when mixed with a contrasting colour in this case cyan and sea blue, it gives a very happy and exciting feeling.
Possible artworks- View of waves and sand, adding palm leaves or point of interest, sunrise on the beach
Colour scheme- cool, dull colours. Dark blues and greys. More towards gloomy, grey and slightly negative.
Rain is often depicted as sad, especially on the sea. It is correkated with thunder, lightning and even danger. For me rainy days are very gloomy and I don't enjoy them very much. Hence I see rain as a sad or gloomy experince
components- lighting, clouds, one grey- black focal point
Possible artworks- dark sky, sinking ship, broken, building perspective artwork
Colour scheme- warm colours, red, orange, some essence of black. Very vibrant and bold colours
Components- 1 focal point which includes fire, so fire would not be the point of the painting
Fire has always been correlated with power and a sense courage and determination. I consider it a very powerful and meaningful element of nature. There are many phrases such as 'fire in the belly' which also talk about persistance and hence I have chosen fire as power and courage
Possible painting- pheonix, eyes of fire, lion of fire
