sport cinemagraphy
Sports cinematographers possess a unique skill set; they bring a distinct, refined and fresh process to both television and film production.
Different lenses, different cameras, different tripods, different lighting, there is so much to one shot in the sporting world.
Professional sports photographers use a shutter speed of around 1/1000 of a second to stop motion. During the day this is simple. At night however, you may need a faster F Stop than your lens is suited for.
-
Speed, I need a fast lens to capture the fast pace of most sporting events. A lens that offers an f/2.8 or lower speed is ideal but this comes at a much steeper cost than a lens with an f/4.
Motor Speed, I want a lens that can autofocus fast. If you are looking for a canon lens look at the USM lenses which can faster than non-USM lenses
-
If you want a first person view, you can always hook up a GoPro to them, on their head or their chest. Or on tripods.

There are so many different sports I could research, but the one I would love to get into is the world of football, the world of football photography/videography.
I am part of my own football team, i know lots of football teams and are in contact with them. Once football restarts I shall be filming and editing their games and making YouTube channels for them.

I have private messaged photographers and videographers that are in the sporting world before for some tips and tricks in the past.

My favourite sport photographers I follow on social media (they are blurry screenshots I will sort that out soon)
