      - Advantages
        A wide range of people can be sent or access the data/information. The data/information can be targeted to specific groups of people
      - Disadvantages Security settings need to be considered Accounts can be hacked, leading to identity theft People can post inappropriate or offensive comments
    - - A blog is a regularly updated website or web page that is usually run by one person, the blogger, or by a small group of people. The content is usually written in an informal style where the blogger shares information by writing about something. Information is uploaded so readers can either download it or read about it. Vlogs are like blogs but distributes information through video rather than text. They can be downloaded to watch or viewed online. Blogs, Vlogs, Intranet, Internet, Blogs
      - Advantages Can be used to get feedback Can be easy to update Many people have access to the distribution channel
      - Disadvantage If not updated then data/information may be out of date
    - - Is it a private network that is accessible only to those who have a log-in or access details. It can be used if the information is to be kept to a small number of authorised people. It can provide the platform for an internal messaging service. It also enables an internal website to be created and used by a business. The web pages on the internal website can be used to distribute information, provide links to information or an internal blog and allow files to be downloaded
    - - An internet website is one that can be accessed by anyone who is connected to the internet. Most businesses have a website where they distribute information thought it . A website can enable information to be posted directly or allow the information to be downloaded in the form of a file. A link to a blog or vlog can be given on a website that, when clicked, will take the user to the blog or vlog.
    - - It is a system that enable voice calls to be made over the internet.
        It can also be used with video calling using a webcam. There are programs that can be downloaded, usually for free, that allow calls to be made to anyone else who has the program installed. Some providers require a subscription to use this service while others charge on a call-by-call basis. Examples of providers include Skype and Lync.
      - Advantages Free if an internet connection is available Data/information can be sent at the same time as the VoIP call is taking place
      - Disadvantages If a stable internet connection is not available then the conversation may lag Each end of the call must have the right hardware and software to speak to one another
    - - It is the term given to a collection of elements which include text, sound, video and graphics. It can be very powerful and can have a huge impact but the elements must be carefully combined. Interactions include being able to stop, pause, go back or forward. It can be used as a distribution channel via a web conference where people who are remote from each other through speech via the internet. During the conference, document can be seen and shared by all people taking part. A stable internet connection is needed as well as a webcam, speakers and microphone. Web Conference, Youtube

      - DisadvantagesThe message given through multimedia can be lost if too many elements are used If the quality of the multimedia is low, then the message may not be seen as reliable
    - - These are totally reliant on access to the internet. Documents can be stored in the cloud and accessed by other people. Access rights may be required to access the information which helps it be secure. If files are too large it may take time to download or become corrupted during downloading. Google Drive, Office 365
      - Advantages Files are stored off-sites so can be used as a backup. Access rights can be given so documents can be shared.
      - DisadvantageMust have internet access to be able to download stored files
    - - They are applications that are designed to run on a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet. Apps are available for many purposes such as fitness trackers, transport and travel apps and social media

      - Advantage Features can be included in the data/information to increase user interaction
      - Disadvantages Apps need to be constantly monitored and updated Regular maintenance needs to be carried out

        Graphs/charts can help a user visualise the data better
        Trends and patterns can be easily identified

        A poorly presented graph/chart can cause users to misinterpret the data being shown
        If the wrong data is used to create the graph/chart then the data can become useless

        Links to other resources or files
        The show can be presented by a speaker or automatically without human involvement
      - Disadvantage Too much text on a slide can make the information difficult to read
    - - Advantage
        Information can be shown clearly and in an easy-to-understand format
      - Disadvantage Headings must be used to indicate what each part of the table is showing Cannot be provided full details

        Information about a topic can be collated and presented as a report

        If too much information is included then the user may not read the report thoroughly
