The Law and Order
The Aztecs had maintained law and order by punishing those who committed crimes, by creating a law force to help maintain order and to suppress any thoughts of rebellion in the Aztec community. They also set up courts so they could make a fair law system, with judges who were well paid so they wouldn’t take bribes, to ensure that the judgement was fair and just, to prevent any resentment in the Aztecs, so they wouldn’t revolt. The Aztec also had to make sure their punishments were harsh to discourage the law breaker from repeating it again and to scare any other assailants who thought of committing crimes.
