Activity 1: Students with Learning Disabilities
Identifying and Helping Struggling Students: The following chart are ways in which I would identify and help struggling students be success in my class.
Frustration: When students are not sure of knowing the correct answers or are not prepared for the day.

Allow the students to use non-verbal cues to ask for help from the teacher or send in a private chat if virtual.

Social Interactions: When students have a hard time interacting with some of their peers they will shut down in class and while working in groups.
Conduct in class surveys to find the interest of each student. This will help match like minded students together and break the ice with conversation. most students have at least one thing in common.
Pay close attention to how students interact entering into the class and allow students to pick a partner to work with that they are comfortable with.
Redirect all comments back to the lesson if they veer of topic. And remind allstudents to stay focused.
Allow students to work alone but check in with you or a trusted student for any questions about the lesson.
