The different methods you use to check the success of a display
Is it attracting attention?
If not enough customers are interacting with the displays they may need reconsidering to try and attract more attention.
Low attention results in low sales figures and potential financial losses due to the investment into this product.
Low interest could also suggest that it may not be located in the right area or location in the store.
It may also be the wrong season for this range.
Is it generating sales?
Positive sales impact within their respected department could signify a great amount of issue within the display.
Low sales most likely means a large loss financially as a lot of money has been spent procuring this stock and assembling a display.
Could the products be advertised more. Investing money to make money?
Could prices be reduced or increased and what impact would it have on the traffic and interest on the display.
Are there any products not selling successfully?
Stock not selling could take over a large amount of space if stored and it could even expire if it can.
If certain products are selling out quicker than others we could do with increasing the amount sent in from our central warehouses.
Stock needs to be kept in the best condition to ensure that it sells more successfully.
Is the price to high?
What are customers saying about the product?
Is the feedback we are receiving positive or negative?
In store feedback but also digital reviews of our website.
Are we taking criticism on board and using it to improve the display.
What is social medias response to the product?
