CHAPTER 7: READING SKILLS
QUESTIONING: This is an essential step, it will bring students the results that they need. That questions are:
(2) What do I expect to find?
(3) What do I already know about the subject?
(1) What is that I want to find?
READING
Reading techinque: Is important in the situation that you have to read the large volumes of information in your studies. Two techinques are: Skimming and Reading more than once.
READING MORE THAN ONCE: academic writing provides a lot of information within a typical page or a particular paragraph, so students must read a particular section more than once.
SKIMMING: Reading the first sentence of each paragraph to have a summary of that particular chapter.
RECALLING

REVIEWING: final step of SQ3R
Boosting long-term learning
