What is Ethics?
Ethics are belief, values, and moral principles by which we determine what is right or wrong.
Ethical Group
Effective group member.
Make wise and sound decision, respects the right of others and gives others opportunity to make a choices.
Group Ethical Standards
Measured based on some commitments that each member in the group should give to other member.
Commitment To Doing Your Best
Doing a task given as best as we can by being contributive to the group.
Members should contributive for the benefits of the group.
Conflicts will emerge when members do not do their job
Commitment To The Group Good
For the sake of the group's beneficial gains
Commitment To Rationality
Using rationality and logic
Members should be rational rather than emotional
Be rational by following the majority's ideas
Commitment To Fair Play
Used to express a form of human behavior that is characterized by fairness towards one's self, others and society, and the wider environment.
Member should plays fair to the group by working cooperatively for the common goal.
Commitment To Good Listening
Paying attention to another member when they are talking and giving opportunity to members to talk.
Commitment To Preparation
Prepared for a meeting by studying the issue to be discussed in the meeting.
A member should come prepared to the discussion.
Commitment To Ideational Conflict
A form of constructive conflict that deals exclusively with ideas.
Use a reason to come to rational conclusion.
Communication skills are important to attack the others idea.
Commitment To Objectivity
A way of thinking that is based on real fact and not influences by personal beliefs or feelings.
Need to separate the facts from their personal opinion
Commitment To Tolerance
Tolerant with different communicate style that other member have
Each member should not be judgmental to each other but tolerant.
Commitment To Social Maturity
Member should be mature not to be childish
Be open minded, not too defensive or cry baby, get angry when it comes to argument against others idea.
