- obtain support from senior management , cause without attention any policy will reduce the chance of success
- make an outline scope and goals as well as cost and schedule of implementation.
3-Implemintation phases
- design team that actually write the policy
- can rely on existing policy found on web or other source.
2-analysis phases
obtain all relevant / recent information (risk assessment and IT audit ...ect) as well as other reference concerning positive or negative outcomes in similar policy
getting policy document into hand for all employees , may require investment or effort
techniques for distribution :
- hard copy
- bulletin- board
- via e-mail
- via internet as (pdf or html)
must prove by organization they distribute policy document via " audit log in case electronic distribution
