Robot Objectives - Coggle Diagram

- - - - Main components needed for this function
        
        Line Sensor
        
        Line sensor detects what is underneath it. If the line sensor detects black, it will output the value of 0, and if it detects white it will output the value of 1. Using the line sensor, the robot can be coded so that when the robot is on the line (black) it will turn left and when the robot is on the white space is will turn right. This enables the robot to "zigzag" or bounce on and off the line
        
        Sonar Sensor
        
        The sonar sensor will keep transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves that allow it to detect objects and measure the distance to that object. If the sonar sensor detects an object within 15 cm of its vicinity, the robot will immediately stop following the line and proceed onto the next function
        
        DC Motors
        
        The DC motors control the motion, movement and direction of the robot. They are probably the most essential part of the project and allow the robot to move.
      - Flexible Path Layout
      - Robot only follows the line while the distance between an object in front of the robot and the robot itself is greater than or equal to 15 cm
        
        Bounce on and off the line
        
        Turn right until robot is off the line
        
        Turn left until robot is on the line
    - - Function only executes when Sonar Sensor detects an object less than 15 cm in front of it
        
        Turn right for 1 second
        
        Move forward for two seconds
        
        Turn left for one second
        
        Move forward for 3 seconds
        
        Turn left for 1 second

      - Main goal
        
        Robot avoids object without bumping into it
      - Main components needed for this section
        
        DC Motors
        
        The DC motors are the only necessaery component needed for this function. Since this function includes a lot of turning and moving forward, it is solely dependent on the DC motors. The DC motors are what make the robot move and avoid the obstacle/object
        
        This function only executes when the sonar sensor detects an object close to it. Hence, the sonar sensor is not needed for this section and has no particular use
    - - Function only executes when Sonar Sensor detects an object less than 15 cm in front of it (for the SECOND time)
        
        Turn right for half a second
        
        Move forward for 4 seconds
      - Main components needed for this section
        
        Similarly to the Avoid Obstacle section, the only main essential component reuired for this function are the DC motors.
